This workshop will allow participants to paint, assemble, and learn to manipulate a wooden fish rod puppet. Kids under 10 must be with an adult.
Vernon a commencé la sculpture en bois en 2020, peu après avoir pris sa retraite, et ne s’est jamais arrêté depuis. Au cours des trois dernières années, il a suivi des formations avec Bernd Ogrodnik de Worlds of Puppets, ainsi qu’avec Mirek Trejtnar de Puppets in Prague, spécialisés respectivement dans la fabrication de marionnettes et la création d’automates. accessible pour tous et toutes.
Vernon began carving in 2020 shortly after retiring and has never looked back. Over the past three years he has taken online courses with Bernd Ogrodnik from Worlds of Puppets in puppet making and with Mirek Trejtnar from Puppets in Prague in making automata. He lives in Mildmay, Ontario with Monika, his wife of 41 years.
